Symonds Yat Rapids.

Hereford Cathedral from the river.

In 2007 the tour will start on the outskirts of Hereford, and end in Monmouth, giving you the opprtunity to visit two historic Border settlements and the picturesque town of Ross-on Wye. We will paddle through gentle Herefordshire countryside and the more rugged Symonds Yat Gorge, shooting the rapids on the way! The energetic can ascend to the top of Symonds Yat Rock where the view is truly spectacular, and you may be rewarded by a sighting of the Peregrines. For the less energetic there are pubs, teashops and woodland walks.
