Backyard Expeditions

You don't have to go abroad to experience real adventure. Our backyard expeditions are available for smaller groups, DofE etc, and dates are by arrangement. Please contact us for full details.

 

Canoe camping trail.

2 - 5 days on the beautiful rivers Wye or Severn.

Climbing by canoe.

Explore the climbing crags of the Wye Valley, moving peacefully between locations by canoe.

Mountain Adventure.

Combine hillwalking, river gorge adventure, caving and an overnight camp for 2 days of fun in the hills.

Adventure Trail

(one or more days)

Adventure Trail is ideal for groups who want to explore the outdoors under their own steam. A typical Adventure Trail will include sections on foot, by bike and by canoe.

Prices 2006

Please ask for a quote, which will depend on the nature and duration of your expedition and the numbers in your party.

*A reasonable number of adult leaders, teachers, lecturers etc. may accompany the group free of charge. They may be asked to help supervise the group, but will not be expected to get involved in technical instruction.

Expeditions may include camping or hostel-type accommodation. Visit our Accommodation page for details of local accommodation suitable for groups.

Please ask for a quote for larger or smaller groups; or for backyard expeditions, extended courses, field studies etc.

Summer Camp

We offer a summer camp to schools and youth groups. You can now take your group on a 5-day holiday under canvas with a multi-activity programme available. Accommodation is in 'Walk-in' 8-10 person tents with separate cooking and dining areas. Camping Equipment is supplied, and you can choose to self-cater or book outside caterers for your camp.

£12.50 per person per night including camp-site fees.
