River Gorge Adventure Abseiling, scrambling, waterfall climbing, rope crossings water jumps, rock slides, dark tunnels, sticky mud baths... Any of these elements may be involved when you journey along one of our local river gorges but whatever happens you can be assured of a fun, memorable day. It is also possible to have a limited River Gorge programme as a half-day session. Half-day gorge adventures can be combined with canoeing (canal or lake venue), climbing and abseiling, wayfaring or caving to make a full day's programme. They may be asked to help supervise the group, but will not be expected to get involved in technical instruction. All courses are non-residential, although camping options are available. Please ask for a quote for larger or smaller groups; or for backyard expeditions, extended courses, field studies etc. Summer Camp We offer a summer camp to schools and youth groups. You can now take your group on a 5-day holiday under canvas with a multi-activity programme available. Accommodation is in 'Walk-in' 8-10 person tents with separate cooking and dining areas. Camping Equipment is supplied, and you can choose to self-cater or book outside caterers for your camp. £12.50 per person per night including camp-site fees.
